    Variety ELLIOTT (in container) Blueberry Elliott (Elliott) — an old yet proven late-ripening blueberry variety, ripening from the second half of August and over the course of a month. It differs from its competitors by being undemanding to soils and climatic growing conditions, having high frost resistance, and a vigorous strong-growing shrub up to 2 meters, with dense and strong shoots. The selection was obtained in 1948 in the USA. Bred by crossing the blueberry varieties Burlington x (Dixi x (Jersey x Pioneer)). Suitable for mechanized harvesting. Self-fertile Elliott blueberry can yield 5–7 kg and more per bush with good agricultural practices. Young bushes will give an initial signaling harvest — boasting a berry, not more. In the second–third year — up to 2–2.5 kg. Fruits are small to medium — 11–12 to 15 mm in diameter, occasionally larger ones, collected in clusters of medium and low density — loose. The scar is small, dry, neat, and small. The skin is covered with a quality waxy bloom. Color is intense blue.
