Thanks to the presence of two separate eccentrics and connecting rods - for the vibration knife and the shaker, this vibrating potato digger demonstrates high productivity - up to 0.2 ha/h, at a working transport speed of 1-2 km/h. The eccentrics are actuated when the walk-behind tractor engine is started, receiving the required force through a belt drive and drive pulley, initiating the reciprocating movements of the active knife and the shaker. The vibration knife, penetrating the soil to a depth of up to 20 cm, cuts a slice of soil together with the tubers across the working width - 40 cm, delivers them to the shaker, where the vegetables are well cleaned of soil by vibration and dumped onto the field surface.
