Vibratory potato digger for a walk-behind tractor, 2-eccentric, is perfectly suitable for harvesting potatoes and similar root crops (onion, beet, carrot, turnip) on small private and farm plots. It is attached to walk-behind tractors with at least 8 horsepower using a single-point hitch coupling. It shows good productivity - up to 0.3 ha/h on plots with light and medium soil, previously cleared of tops and weeds.
In operating mode the vibratory potato digger is driven by the walk-behind tractor engine via a belt drive that transmits torque to two eccentrics, which operate the shaker and the blade. Thanks to the separate eccentrics, the vibrating blade and the sieving grid move in a synchronized smooth reciprocating rhythm, which in turn ensures the most gentle extraction of the root crop and significantly reduces vibration transmitted to the working machine.
When harvesting the vegetable, the vibrating blade with which the vibratory potato digger for a walk-behind tractor (2-eccentric) is equipped, plunges into the soil to the set depth, cuts under and lifts the clod with root crops, dropping it onto the vibrating shaker. Due to active shaking, the tubers are freed from adhering soil and laid out on the surface of the field.
In one pass the 2-eccentric vibratory potato digger covers a strip 39 cm wide, collecting more than 90% of the crop on a sowing area up to 2 ha. Adjustment of digging depth is carried out by the support wheels by changing the working height.
