Description of the FN-1.5M rotary soil tiller for tractor Rotary soil tillers are used for finishing pre-sowing soil cultivation in a single working pass, eliminating preliminary plowing and harrowing. At the same time, active crushing and mixing of the topsoil layer occurs, weeds are destroyed, crop residues and fertilizers are incorporated, the surface is leveled, optimal porosity and soil structure are created, which increases its biological and biochemical activity. Soil tillers are used both in open fields and in greenhouses, on flat surfaces and on beds, and are used in forest nurseries and park-and-garden farms. They are most effective when working heavy waterlogged soils, cutting hummocks, as well as for improving and refreshing meadows and pastures. The soil tillers have a centrally located drive. The rotor knives are arranged in a spiral, which increases the smoothness of the tiller’s operation.
