    Variety CHERIKOSA. Alycha hybrid Cherikos - a new hybrid form of mid-season ripening (first ten days of August). Obtained by crossing an alycha of an unknown variety with a black apricot. Breeding developed in Germany. The tree is self-fertile, grows up to 2.5 m tall, with a compact oval-shaped crown. Fruits are large, average weight 45 - 55 grams, externally resembling an apricot, skin shiny, dark burgundy. Flesh very tender, juicy, pleasant sweet taste, cherry-colored. Stone is freestone. Disease resistance is good. Winter hardiness down to -25°C.
