Variety MOGADORApricot Mogador (Mogador) - a new apricot variety of ultra-early ripening. The variety was bred in Spain quite recently. Harvest ripening at the end of May - beginning of June, which is significantly earlier than other known very early apricot varieties. According to tables and comparisons with other apricot varieties by deviations from reference varieties in the conditions of Zaporizhia region, yields are expected at the end of May.Mean fruit weight 50-60 g, round-oval in shape, covered with a bright red noticeable blush on 60% of the fruit surface mainly on the sunny side. Flesh yellow, firm in texture, medium sweetness, well-balanced sugar and acid content. The taste becomes sweeter when the fruits are fully ripe. Well suited for transport.The variety is self-pollinating, with good weather during flowering the harvest will be annual. Also well pollinates other early apricot varieties. Trees vigorous, very energetic, semi-spreading, prone to crop overload, thinning may be required to obtain larger fruits, high-yielding.
