    Variety BLACK BEAUTYBlack Beauty is a blackberry of U.S. breeding that arrived in our country relatively recently. It has an early fruiting period – from late June. The variety is medium-yielding: about 3–4 kg of berries per bush per season.Panicles (canes) of Black Beauty are long, reach up to 3 meters, prostrate. The stems along their entire length are covered with small black thorns. Bushes of this variety are very compact, which allows reducing the spacing between seedlings when planting. Winter hardiness of Black Beauty is medium (down to -15 °C), so it must be covered for the winter. This is not difficult because the variety is prostrate.The name of this variety speaks for itself – Black Beauty. And it is justified by large, barrel-shaped, shiny, black berries. In length the berries can reach 6 mm, and their weight 12 grams. Although specimens up to 25 grams occur. In taste the berry is sweet, practically without acidity and has a rich blackberry aroma. The characteristics of transportability and resistance to diseases of the Black Beauty blackberry are high. The berries are of universal purpose: suitable for processing and for eating fresh.
