    Variety TORO, closed root (container) Blueberry tall Toro – an American blueberry variety bred in 1987. The plant is tall — reaches up to 2 meters, very similar to the variety "Bluecrop", an excellent choice for commercial planting, has high fertility, very large berry size, taste qualities excellent, sweet firm fruit. The berry is smooth, blue in color, flowers and ripens in clusters, which speeds up harvest. Used for canning and industrial processing, as well as eaten fresh. Ripens at the end of summer, a little later than "Bluecrop", thereby replacing the fruiting of that variety. Stable in severe winters where it withstands frosts down to -35°C. Like all blueberries, resistant to viral diseases and various fungi. Main characteristics: Age of blueberry seedlings: 2 years, height ― 50–55 cm. Ripening: from August 1 to 20. Berry: large, weighing 2–3.5 g. Yield: from 6 to 9 kg. Height: 1.8–2 m. Frost resistance: to –36 degrees. Resistance: high.
