    Variety GOLD FINGER. The popular grape variety Gold Finger (alternate name — Golden Finger) is a very interesting complex table selection of early ripening; in the climatic conditions of southern Ukraine it ripens in the first half of August. Bred in Japan as a result of crossing Peerless and Pizzutello Bianco, registered in 1993. It is a hybrid between Vitis labrusca L. and Vitis vinifera L. The bush has medium vigor. Bunches are large, conical in shape, of medium density, weight — 500–700 grams. Berries are elongated with a pointed tip, arched, oblong, golden-yellow, weighing 5–6 g. Skin is firm. Flesh is firm, meaty, juicy, with a good varietal taste. Flavor is complex, with caramel and fruity tones, a slight labrusca aroma is present. The variety is notable for its ability to accumulate high sugar (up to 24 g/100 cm3). Transportability is average. High yield. Increased resistance to fungal diseases.
