    Variety CABRILLO. The Cabrillo strawberry is one of the most promising selections developed at the University of California, USA. This remontant variety was obtained by such well-known breeders as Douglas W. Shaw and Kirk D. Larson. Garden strawberry is characterized by high yield; in the climatic conditions of Ukraine there are no fewer than three waves of fruiting: from the first days of June until October. The berry is consistently large, transportable, with excellent marketable appearance. The bush is vigorous, medium-sized, leaves broad, erect, dark green, glossy, very similar to Albion. Flowers are large, white, bisexual. Flower stalks are strong, tall. Strawberry fruits are large, attractive, average weight 35–45 grams, firm, sweet, and with proper agronomy do not become smaller. Yield for the whole season is at the level of 1500–2200 grams per bush. Disease resistance is high. Winter hardiness is good, does not require covering for the winter. Root system is potted.
