The KS 8TKE 52/40 log splitter is a high-performance electric log splitter of the German trademark “Könner & Söhnen”, which is an excellent solution for preparing firewood both for households and small farms. The log splitter of kinetic type is an outstanding time saver, as its splitting time is reduced to 2 seconds and its splitting capacity depends solely on how quickly one can feed logs for splitting. The unit's splitting force reaches 8 tons. A high-performance, environmentally friendly motor in combination with high-quality components allows splitting large quantities of both very dry and wet logs with a diameter of up to 350 mm and a length of up to 520 mm. The splitter wedge made of hardened steel is welded into the frame and can withstand heavy splitting loads. Maximum safety and comfort of use are guaranteed by: Two-lever control system provides increased operator safety. The engine is equipped with an emergency stop button, which increases the operator's safety when operating the log splitter and enables immediate power-off of the device in unforeseen situations. The Könner & Söhnen KS 8T-PC protective metal grill protects the user from debris such as flying chips and small pieces of wood generated during splitting.
