A radiotelephonist is responsible for organizing and maintaining communications between units in military conditions, ensuring the operational exchange of information and coordinating the actions of command and combat groups. The main task of the communications specialist is to ensure uninterrupted radio and telephone communications, set up communication equipment, and maintain communications in field conditions.

Duties:

Configuring and servicing communication means (radio stations, telephones, satellite means);
Ensuring uninterrupted communications between command posts and combat units;
Monitoring communication quality, diagnosing and eliminating technical faults;
Maintaining communication channels in field conditions and in combat situations;
Implementing cryptographic protection of communications and maintaining information confidentiality;
Cooperating with other units to support stable communications during combat operations.

Requirements:

Secondary specialized or higher education (preferably technical profile or in the field of telecommunications);
Experience working with radio and telecommunications equipment;
Knowledge of basic cryptography and information protection is preferred;
High level of technical literacy, attention to detail;
Physical endurance and readiness to work in field conditions;
Responsibility, discipline, ability to act in extreme conditions.
