Description:

Standard pump repair kit with housing 48-1307020 also known as D65-1307020, for the D-65 engine, YUMZ tractor.

Unlike other engines, the D-65 and D-65M1 do not have old and new type pumps. There is the D11-С01-V4 pump also known as D11-С12-B3 SB. Water pumps of other designs are not described in any catalog.

After disassembling the pump, it is necessary to check the condition of the pump housing thrust bushing. Its wear should be even without damage or skew. Otherwise install a new bushing. The pump housing should also be inspected for defects.

The bearing cavity is filled with grease LITOL-24 or CIATIM-221F. The impeller shaft seal is assembled as a unit and installed into the impeller. After assembling the pump the shaft sealing is achieved by friction of the graphite washer of the seal against the thrust sliding bushing pressed into the pump housing seat, creating the required level of unit tightness. To prevent fluid leakage from the pump drain hole during seating of the seal, the bushing should be lubricated with a thin layer of colloidal graphite grease.

The pump shaft is steel. It has journals of 25 and 30 mm diameters for pressing on bearings and a flat for installing the impeller and preventing its rotation on the shaft.

The impeller is plastic with a metal bushing inside. This allows it to fit tightly on the shaft providing normal coolant circulation speed.
