Description of the unit:

Single-cylinder, pneumatic, piston compressor T-40 A29.02.000 is intended to supply compressed air to the pneumatic system of the T-40 and T-16 tractors. The air compressor A29.02.000 is mounted on the D-144 engine in front of the fuel pump. The mounting location of the compressor is identical to the mounts of the fuel injection pump. Therefore, if the compressor is removed, a fuel pump can be installed in its place.
