Description:
In ZIL-130, MAZ, KAMAZ vehicles, as well as the T-150 tractor and its modifications, a pneumatic brake drive is installed. It includes: a compressor, a pressure regulator, a safety valve, tanks, a brake cock, wheel brake chambers, a brake pedal, a coupling head and an isolating cock, an air take-off cock, a drain cock and a pressure gauge.
The compressor on ZIL-130, MAZ, KAMAZ vehicles, as well as on the T-150 tractor and its modifications, is of the piston type, two-cylinder single-stage compression, driven by a V-belt from the fan pulley. In the middle part of the cylinder block there is a cavity in which the compressor unloading device is located.
Compressor composition:
- cylinder block
- cylinder head
- crankcase
- front cover
- lower cover
- rear cover
The compressor crankshaft rotates in ball bearings with connecting rods and is connected to two pistons via floating-type piston pins. A pulley is installed on the front end of the crankshaft, which is secured with a key and a nut. On the rear end of the crankshaft there are a seal and a nut to secure the ball bearing. In the wall of the cylinder block there is a window for the passage of air entering the cylinders from the cavity in which two intake valves with seats and intake valve guides are installed, and above each cylinder in the head there are exhaust valves.
Under the compressor intake valves there is an unloading device consisting of:
- plunger with rod
- rocker
- springs
- guides
The channel of the compressor unloading mechanism is connected to the pressure regulator.
