  3. Butter — produced by separating or churning cream obtained from cow's milk (less often from sheep, goat, buffalo, yak and zebu milk). It has a high milk fat content (50–82.5%, and about 99% in clarified butter).
  4. Yogurt — made from milk standardized for fat and dry matter, soured with a starter culture prepared from pure cultures of Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, with or without the addition of fruit and berry syrups, flavorings, fillers and colorants.

How to Choose Quality Dairy Products

To buy high-quality farm products, it is important to pay attention to several key factors:

  • ingredients;
  • expiration date;
  • manufacturer;
  • storage conditions;
  • price.

Important! When buying cheese, many confuse it with a cheese product in which part of the milk fat is replaced by a substitute. And if the content of the milk fat substitute in it exceeds 50%, then even the word “cheese” should not be used.
