The National Classifieds Board NDO is a modern online marketplace for buying and selling new and used commercial vehicles in Ukraine for freight transportation. In this section you can list a truck for sale or buy a specialized vehicle by filtering the listings.
Trucks are the most common type of transport for short and medium-distance shipments. A truck offers high maneuverability and mobility, allowing goods to be delivered quickly from door to door. Road freight vehicles also have relatively low transport costs, making them accessible to Ukrainian businesses.
Road freight transport plays an important role in our economy by ensuring the uninterrupted movement of goods and raw materials within Ukraine and beyond. The development of road freight transport supports increased production and trade, as well as an improved standard of living.

On our marketplace you can buy new and used trucks and specialized road machines for freight transport.
Trucks can be classified by the following criteria: purpose, payload capacity, and body type.
Types of trucks by purpose
There are 2 types of freight vehicles:
- General-purpose freight vehicles are used to transport various kinds of cargo, such as food products, construction materials, and industrial equipment.
- Specialized vehicles are used to transport specific types of cargo: containers, cars, petroleum products, hazardous materials, and so on.
Specialized road machines for freight transport include:
- Dump truck - a truck with a body that can tip for quick unloading. Dump trucks are used for transporting bulk materials such as grain, sand, gravel, crushed stone, soil, and more.
- Tanker – a tractor or vehicle with a tank for transporting liquids or gases, such as water, oil, chemicals, gasoline, etc.

Types of trucks by body type
By body type a truck can be:
- Open, for transporting goods that do not require protection from the elements (dump trucks, flatbed trailers, car carriers).
- Enclosed, for transporting goods that require protection from weather and third parties (tankers, tarpaulin-covered trucks, semi-trailers, vans, etc.).
How to properly buy a truck on NDO
Buying a truck through a classifieds board is a responsible step that requires careful planning and a balanced choice. To avoid making a mistake and purchasing a problematic truck, follow these tips:
- Define your needs. What do you need the truck for? How much are you willing to spend? Which features and options are important to you?
- Study the offers in this section of our classifieds board. Find out which trucks in your price range are available on Ukraine's secondary market. Compare prices, technical specifications, and owner reviews.
- Choose the most suitable option and contact the listing author.
- Inspect the truck. Before purchasing, be sure to inspect the truck for damage and defects. Pay attention to the condition of the body, cabin, engine, and transmission.
- Ask for the truck's history and service book. Find out how the vehicle was used, whether repairs were performed, and which issues were discovered.
- Sign a sale-purchase agreement. Before buying, be sure to sign a sale-purchase contract. The contract should specify all essential terms of the transaction, such as price, date and location of vehicle handover, and any seller warranties.
Here are a few additional tips to help when buying a vehicle:
- Don't be afraid to negotiate. When buying a vehicle you can always negotiate with the seller and lower the price for used equipment.
- Don't rush the purchase. Avoid buying a truck immediately after finding it. Take time to think and compare offers. New listings are added to our site regularly, so sometimes it's worth waiting if time allows.
- Don't buy a truck without a test drive. Always conduct a test drive before purchase. This will help you assess its driving qualities and identify possible problems.
If you follow these tips, you can buy a reliable and verified truck that will be cost-effective for your business.
Questions to ask the listing author on our marketplace:
- What is the truck's mileage?
- When was the last oil change and replacement of other consumables?
- Has the truck ever been in accidents or sustained damage?
- What is the condition of the body, cabin, engine, and transmission?
- Have any repairs been carried out?
- Are there any warranty obligations?
And for peace of mind, it is advisable to have the truck inspected to assess its actual technical condition, so you don't buy a pig in a poke.
