- Rolled (pebble-finished) – the edges and corners of the blocks are rounded.
The material for paving stones includes various rock types: granite, gneiss, sandstone, basalt, dolomite, and glacial boulder. Depending on the type and finish, paving stones can be used to create a variety of road surfaces and pedestrian areas (yards, sidewalks, parks, squares, industrial sites, etc.).
What Determines the Price of Paving Stones
The price of paving stones per square meter depends on several key parameters:
- Manufacturing technology. The cost depends on how the product is made: by vibrocasting or vibropressing.
- Tile thickness. These dimensions also affect the price. Paving stones can have thicknesses from 50 to 120 mm in 20 mm increments. Thicker paving stones usually cost more.
- Quality of the building material. High-quality paving stones cannot be cheap by definition.
