    Buy the PZS-8 sunflower harvesting header modernized by the manufacturer plant “Bilotserkivmaz”.

    The PZS-8 header harvests sunflower at the stage of full ripeness. In one pass over the field a combine with the BMZ header provides: cutting off the tops of the plants, threshing seed from the heads, winnowing the material, collecting cleaned seed into the tank, shredding threshed heads and spreading them across the field.

    PZS-8 is used in all sunflower growing zones on fields with a slope up to 8° (14%). The header is most effective when harvesting sunflower at full maturity within the optimal harvesting window at speeds up to 6 km/h in stands.

    Sunflower seed harvesting headers PZS-8M have a number of advantages:

    -high productivity: stalks in the header lanes are fed without tilting to the side of its longitudinal axis. As a result, there is the possibility to operate the unit at higher speeds, which provides increased productivity;

    -high structural reliability: achieved by the absence of longitudinal conveyors for feeding cut sunflower heads to the transverse auger;

    -minimization of losses: the original design of the cutting unit provides a smooth and unobtrusive cutting of stalks, which significantly reduces grain losses. The disc knives also have special grabs for smooth transfer of cut heads to the header auger. There are special seed collection containers in the lane hoods, and chain conveyors are installed in the working channels of the lanes, the speed of which is comparable to the operating speed of the combine.

    The reduction of seed losses is also facilitated by the design with adjustable pickup height for lodged heads. Reflective shields installed on the front shield prevent stalks from hanging up on the shield when harvesting tall-stem sunflowers.

    -a fully welded frame and strong brackets made of square tubes that provide high header strength and ease of operation;

    -made of strong reliable materials, assemblies and components;

    -simple and quick to mount and dismount;
