The KU12 mulcher for a walk-behind tractor (rear connection) is used for post-harvest cultivation of sowing areas - cleaning and grinding of crop residues, weeds and other growth. The unit effectively grinds vegetation into a homogeneous fraction, leaving the resulting mass on the surface of the field to protect the soil from drying out and to enrich the soil with nutrients formed during the decomposition of plants.
The main working assembly with which the KU12 tractor mulcher is equipped consists of a shaft (length 88 cm) made of a durable steel pipe and 36 knives, paired and located in mounts welded to the shaft. The knives are hammer-type, made of durable heat-treated steel, and have sharpened cutting edges. All shafts are mounted on connections with bearings that contribute to smoother operation of the unit under any loads.
This mulcher attaches to a KU12 walk-behind tractor (rear connection) to machinery with a power of at least 10 horsepower via a rear hitch. On top, on the profiled frame, there is a gear reducer that starts the rotation of the working shaft by means of a chain drive with a sprocket system. A support wheel is installed in an adjustable mount, which allows quick adjustment of the required working height. The mechanism is enclosed by a large protective hood made of quality sheet steel.

Description
