Functional high-performance mulcher for mini-tractor SCQ 180 (stubble residue shredder) has a sturdy, high-load-resistant design intended for carrying out large volumes of work. It is used to clean planting areas after harvest — knocks down and shreds weeds and residues of cultivated plants, forming an even layer of plant mass on the field surface that protects the soil from drying out and wind erosion.
The mounted mulcher SCQ 180 is designed to work with tractors of 70 - 80 horsepower, and attaches to the machine with a reinforced three-point rear hitch. It is equipped with a large metal housing that well covers the working mechanism; a packing roller is installed at the rear of the housing, which distributes the shredded vegetation across the surface of the area to the working width of 1.8 meters.
The mulcher for mini-tractor SCQ 180 (stubble residue shredder) processes areas using a powerful mechanism — a working shaft and 48 steel hammer blades fixed to the shaft with movable bolted connections. The required force that sets the shaft rotating at 1950 - 2300 rpm is received from the tractor PTO via a cardan shaft and belt drive. The drive is provided with a spring-loaded shock-absorbing device that eases the unit's operation on uneven terrain. At a working transport speed of 10 - 12 km/h, the maximum productivity of the unit is 0.35 - 0.7 ha/h.
