    Sunny variety - self-pollinating variety that fruits in mid-summer. It is considered today the most productive, begins to bear fruit in the 2nd year, is famous for very beautiful flowering - it is a real decoration in the garden.
    Fruits are medium size from 60-80 g. Its apricots are juicy, sweet, large, 40-60, it bears fruit annually, the flesh separates well from the stone. High yield: one small tree gives up to 2 buckets of select fruit per season. The tree does not take much space, so you can safely plant it in pots or somewhere near the house.
    Care for the tree
    Regular pruning is very important, which is best done at the end of winter, maintaining the columnar form - this will determine future yield. Side shoots are shortened by 10-20 cm, and the main trunk by 90 cm - already in the second year after planting, all lower and broken branches are removed. The apricot likes good watering, but should not be overwatered; it prefers alkaline soil, so fertilize with ash, or neutralize acidic soil with dolomite flour.
    Advantages of the Sunny apricot
    The tree takes up little space, its crown does not shade neighboring trees.
    A small neat tree during fruiting is simply covered with large ruddy apricots, full of sweet juice.
