VARIETY BLUECROPBluecrop blueberry (Bluecrop) — the best commercial variety of mid-season ripening (second–third decade of July) with very high frost resistance. Among varieties, the berry stands out for excellent taste qualities and the undemanding nature of the shrub itself. The variety is considered the most valuable, known since 1952 and has won the sincere affection of gardeners. It is considered the standard for blueberry cultivation, one of the main commercial varieties in Europe. The bush is tall, requires periodic pruning, reaches a height of 1.7–2.0 m, shoots are upright. Berries are large, up to 18 mm in diameter, flattened in shape, gathered in small clusters. Berry color is blue with a pronounced light-blue bloom, the skin is dense, transportability is high. Flesh is sweet, pleasant in taste, with a slight acidity. Yield is 6–10 kg per bush. The blueberry variety is frost-resistant (withstands down to -34 °C), not susceptible to major diseases. Grown on acidified soil.Ripening: July 20 ― August 20.
