    Variety CONQUEST The Conquest plum is an absolute novelty in Ukraine. The only pitless and unique plum variety in the world. The fruit contains no stone (hard shell around the kernel), only a small embryo of soft seed that is not felt when eaten. Bred by the well-known breeder Luther Burbank in 1904. This plum variety is for lovers of curiosities in the garden. The tree is medium-sized, highly winter-hardy, resistant to black knot and plum rust. Self-fertile, fruits without pollinators. Very productive. Fruits are blue-matte in color, medium-sized, weight about 50 g, typical of Hungarian plums. Flesh is golden-yellow, sweet, harmonious, juicy. Aroma is pronounced. Ripens at the end of August - beginning of September. Ideal for the home garden. Use: eating fresh brings special enjoyment, fruits can be eaten whole. Also ideal for drying, making prunes, preserves, and various types of processing: jam, fruit butter, etc.
