Variety MARYSHKAMaryshka — large-fruited, dark-colored, mid-early strawberry variety developed by Czech breeders. The berries reach large sizes, sometimes even larger than a matchbox. The main difference of Maryshka from other large-fruited types is that berries from all pickings are of the same size and do not get smaller, maintaining a weight of 40–60 g. It has the appearance of a low-growing and compact bush, with a rather powerful root system.The berries are very sweet and dry, which is their characteristic. Bright yellow seed achenes that protrude on the surface give them a pleasant marketable appearance. The main cluster of achenes is located at the tip of the berry, which can mistakenly make one think the fruits are not yet ripe. The aroma of the flesh is very fragrant and reminiscent of wild strawberry. The flesh itself is firm, which facilitates transportation over long distances without damaging the fruits.Winter hardiness is excellent; advantages also include disease resistance and drought tolerance. Flower stalks are located above the leaves, which prevents them from lying on the ground. They grow in clusters above the leaves, so they can have virtually any shape. Their close placement to each other affects the formation and development of each berry individually. Most often an elongated or flat-cone shape is encountered. All fruits ripen almost simultaneously.
