The KS CA1500 axe from Könner & Söhnen® is used for household tasks such as cutting firewood, clearing land, processing wooden materials, and during construction and repair work.
The metal part of the axe is made of hardened carbon steel, which keeps it sharp for a long time and prevents chipping and nicks. It has a Teflon coating, which is known for its high resistance to extreme temperatures, prevents corrosion and rusting, and extends the service life of the axe. In addition, the PTFE coating provides the axe with excellent sliding and facilitates splitting of wood with high hardness.
The blade sharpening angle of the axe is 30°, which reduces the risk of the axe getting stuck in the wood and allows it to be removed easily without damage.
