The grid-tied solar station is intended to generate profit under the green tariff, save consumed electricity and smooth peak loads.

How this system works:

Electricity produced by the photovoltaic modules supplies the household's own consumption. When the generation capacity of the solar power station exceeds the household consumption, the excess energy is "given" to the public power grid, and when the system's generation is insufficient, the missing energy is consumed from the public power grid. Payment under the "green" tariff is made at the end of each month for the excess generated electricity (that is, for the positive difference between the station's generation indicator and the household's consumption).

A feature of this type of photovoltaic stations is that the system operates only when there is voltage from the external power grid.

The electricity generation from the station for a year of operation will be 5,000 - 5,500 kWh.

Generation in real conditions depends on actual weather conditions and may differ by ±15%;

Economic effect:

The amount of capital investment for the equipment will be 5700 USD.

On average a 5 kW grid-tied station generates 5.4 MWh of electricity per year of operation.

The price of one kilowatt under the “green" tariff is 0.164€, for 1 year of operation the station will bring 870 USD net of taxes provided that all generated electricity is sold

The payback period of the station is less than 4.5 years with minimal self-consumption.
