Description:

Repair kit for pump 16-08-140sp of D-160, D-180 engines, installed in tracked vehicles T-130, T-170, B-10. The shaft of the water pump has splines for mounting the impeller, the hole in which is also made for the spline.

The pump uses 304 bearings without rubber-armored protective washers. This is necessary for lubricating the water pump through a grease fitting. The pump must be lubricated with plastic greases based on lithium or calcium soap with the addition of PTFE and fluorine. This will extend the service life of the unit.

The seal (mechanical seal) of the impeller consists of a spring, two washers that are located inside a rubber bellows, and a graphite sliding washer. The sliding sleeve is located in the impeller.

The design of the cooling system pump is as simple, reliable and efficient as the D-160 and D-180 engines themselves. Therefore, with careful and timely replacement of worn parts, the pump will operate for a long time and without problems.
