Also all trailer parts including the frame and running gear are painted with Polish powder paint, which is highly resistant to mechanical damage and reliably protects metal assemblies from atmospheric precipitation. Before painting all trailer parts are treated with phosphate metal treatment to improve anti-corrosion properties and improve surface adhesion to the paint (they are dipped into a tank with a special acid that removes any tarnish from the metal to a shine).
