Types of Children’s Car Seats

3. Special certification. The car seat undergoes additional tests (crash tests) and is certified for use only in specific car models. The vehicle must be listed among compatible models provided by the car seat manufacturer. The seat may have special features or a design suitable only for installation in certain car models.
