Description of the two-row potato planter "DTZ" KS-2M UPR A modern two-row potato planter provides fast and efficient planting of potatoes in a previously prepared soil using a tractor. It is attached to the three-point hitch mechanism behind the tractor. The potato planter was developed taking into account the suggestions and wishes of Ukrainian growers who professionally cultivate potatoes. Potato hoppers are welded metal, with a total capacity of 160 l. Frame — reinforced. Drive from the support wheels with ground-engaging treads to the elevator is carried out by a chain drive. Spoons for placing potatoes are located on the chain. It is also possible to adjust the inter-row spacing and the distance between tubers in the row. The furrow is formed by a wedge-shaped coulter with adjustable depth. If a fertilizer seeder is additionally installed, granular mineral fertilizers are dosed into the soil simultaneously with potato planting.
