Description of the two-row potato planter KS-2A A modern two-row potato planter is designed for mechanized comfortable planting of potatoes using a tractor. It is mounted on the three-point hitch at the rear of the tractor. Developed taking into account the suggestions and wishes of Ukrainian agrarians who professionally grow potatoes. Planting is carried out in pre-prepared soil. The tuber hopper is welded metal. The furrow is formed by a wedge-shaped coulter with adjustable depth. Drive from the support wheels with ground-engaging lugs to the elevator is carried out by chain transmission. With the additional installation of a fertilizer seeder, granular mineral fertilizers are dosed into the soil through the wedge-coulter tube simultaneously with tuber planting.
