Description of the 2-row potato planter "DTZ" KS-2M: New modern two-row potato planter designed for mechanized comfortable planting of potatoes using a tractor. Mounted on the three-point hitch mechanism at the rear of the tractor. Developed taking into account suggestions and wishes of Ukrainian agrarians who professionally grow potatoes. Planting is carried out into pre-prepared soil. The tuber hopper is welded metal. The furrow is formed by a wedge-shaped coulter with adjustable depth. Drive from the support wheels with soil-engaging lugs to the elevator is carried out by a chain drive. With the additional installation of a fertilizer seeder, simultaneous with planting of tubers, a measured application of granular mineral fertilizers into the soil through the wedge coulter tube is performed. The design of the furrow closers has also been changed. Now, instead of them, the potato planter is equipped with ridgers, which makes it possible to subsequently use this device for hilling potatoes and saves your money.
