At the same time, active crushing and mixing of the topsoil layer occurs, weeds are destroyed, crop residue and fertilizer are incorporated, the surface is leveled, optimal porosity and soil structure are created, which increases its biological and biochemical activity. Rotary tillers are used both in open fields and in greenhouses, on flat surfaces and on beds, and are used in forest nurseries and park and garden farms. They are most effective when working heavy soils that become waterlogged, cutting ridges, as well as for improving and rejuvenating meadows and pastures. Rotary tillers have a centrally located drive. The rotor blades are arranged in a spiral, which increases the smoothness of the tiller's operation.
