The spring harrow BPV-15 is designed for:

loosening the soil after harvesting agricultural crops and evenly distributing plant residues across the field;
pre-sowing soil cultivation;
leveling the soil surface and closing in moisture;
covering seed and mineral fertilizers scattered across the field;
soil cultivation during fallow care.

The toothed spring harrow BPV is rated to work with tractors with power from 160 to 220 hp. Operating speed should be maintained at 8–12 km/h, because at high speeds a vibration effect of the tines occurs, which makes soil cultivation intermittent.

The spring-toothed harrow BPV from BILOTSERKIVMAZ is attached to the tractor using a hitch device. The axes of the harrow's hitch device are inserted into the spherical hinges of the tractor’s linkage extensions. Then it is necessary to insert the pin locks into the product’s hitch crossbar and tighten the side stay chains of the tractor linkage so that there is no play. After that it is necessary to secure the hitch crossbar with a safety chain and insert the free end into the shackle on the hitch device.

The soil cultivation depth on the spring harrow can be adjusted:

Using the screw drawbar of the trailer for the central rake section.
Using the screw drawbar of the wing support wheels for the side rake sections.
