At the same time, active crushing and mixing of the topsoil layer occurs, weeds are destroyed, crop residue and fertilizer are incorporated, the surface is leveled, and optimal porosity and soil structure are created, which increases its biological and biochemical activity. Rotary tillers are used both on open ground and in greenhouses, on flat surfaces and beds, and are used in forest nurseries and park and garden farms. They are most effective when working heavy soils that puddle, cutting off clods, as well as for improving and refreshing meadows and pastures. Rotary tillers have a centrally located drive.
