TRACTOR FT 244HRX: A SPARTAN SPIRIT WITH NOBLE ROOTS Today tractors increasingly resemble passenger cars: futuristic hoods, sensors and promises of cosmic comfort. But when it comes to raw arable land, electronics do not save you from wheel slip, and fashionable plastic cracks at the first branch. In contrast, the FT 244HRX tractor gets to work where only raw endurance and pure pulling power matter. ENGINE The tractor is driven by a 3-cylinder diesel KM385BT with 24 hp and a displacement of 1532 cm³ and a cylinder bore of 85 mm. Air is cleaned by a conventional oil bath filter that is easy to service yourself. The 29-liter tank is hidden under the hood — there it is protected from impacts and weather. You do not need to lift the hood to refuel: there is a convenient filler cap on top. And to protect against accidental burns, the muffler is covered along its entire length with a perforated sheet. TRANSMISSION AND CHASSIS A wheelbase of 1670 mm and wide tires (6.50-16 front and 11.2-24 rear) give the machine confident stability on any terrain. Thanks to the front ballast, the curb weight reaches 1408 kg, allowing it to develop 5.2 kN of tractive effort. All this power is transmitted by a reliable two-disc clutch paired with a reversible gearbox (4×2)+(4×2). And to make handling such weight easy and convenient even in a tight orchard, it has four-wheel drive and a compliant hydrostatic steering. THREE-POINT HITCH The lift mechanism has a lifting capacity of 420 kg, equipped with adjustable lift rods and a central screw, and locking pins on chains so they are not lost. For active implements there are two additional hydraulic outlets with quick-release couplings. The two-speed PTO (540 and 1000 rpm) is protected by a metal cover, and the drawbar hitch for a pin is placed directly below it, allowing simultaneous work with a trailer. COMFORT AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT A left step and handles on the fenders simplify mounting. The workplace is equipped with a spring-loaded eco-leather seat adjustable for height and distance to the steering wheel. Wide side mirrors guarantee excellent all-around visibility, and reliable work at dusk is ensured by a full lighting package including a rear lamp. All key parameters are in view: hour meter, status indicators and analog gauges for tachometer, fuel level and oil pressure. While fashion changes every season, honest cast iron and classic mechanics remain timeless. The FT 244HRX tractor is not about pretty photos, but about earned calluses, full trailers of harvest and an iron proof: true factory breed is tested only by the field.
