Tractor DTZ 5404 — a powerful all-wheel-drive 40 hp tractor for various agricultural tasks. Engine The tractor is equipped with a 4-cylinder diesel engine CF4B40T with a displacement of 2545 cm³ and a power of 40 hp (29.4 kW) with direct fuel injection. The air filter is contact-oil type with a high air intake, transparent cyclone, oil bath and metal mesh that effectively cleans the air. For easy starting in cold weather there is an electric glow plug. The fuel tank is designed for 36 L, providing long operation without refueling. Transmission and chassis Mechanical gear transmission with 4 main gears, 2 additional reduction gears and a separate reverser gearbox forward-neutral-back. Clutch — dry two-stage, constantly engaged type. Hydrostatic steering increases driving convenience. The 4×4 full drive provides excellent cross-country capability. Rear disc brakes with separate pedals can be synchronized. Mechanical differential lock increases traction on difficult sections. Minimum turning radius with brakes — 3.55 m.
