Variety MALVINAThe strawberry variety Malvina is late-ripening. Malvina strawberries originate from Germany (2010). Forms tall, medium-spreading, many-runner, heavily leafed bushes. Leaves are dark green with a gloss, slightly wrinkled. An average number of runners. Flower stalks are shortened, located under the leaves, which protects the crop from the scorching sun and persistent starlings.Malvina berries are large (60–80 g), very attractive in shape, when fully ripe are dark raspberry in color, with a firm but not tough texture, an excellent wine-dessert flavor and a noticeable strawberry aroma. The variety has excellent winter hardiness; due to late flowering it avoids spring frosts, which means it preserves the crop. Malvina berries remain sweet even under heavy rains and lack of sun.The variety has increased immunity to the main strawberry diseases, including verticillium wilt and powdery mildew.
