Description:

Repair kit for the YaMZ Euro water pump 236-1307010-B1, water pump YaMZ 7511.1307010-01 and water pumps 850.1307010, for 12-cylinder YaMZ-850 engines and their modifications. These pumps are installed on V-type YaMZ engines of environmental class Euro 1, Euro 2.

They differ from previous-generation pumps in design. In the Euro YaMZ pumps 304 bearings are used, seal 840.1307031 (YaMZ barrel) with diameter 21x41 mm, and a sliding sleeve of the seal, which together with the rubber gasket 850.1307062 is inserted into the impeller pressed onto the shaft using a hand press.

This design of the bearing unit seal of the water pump is a fairly simple, clear and inexpensive alternative to the face seal 8.8716 (YaMZ Euro mushroom) AAHU 19x40, which began to be used in water pumps of this type produced after 2006.

At the same time the seal 8.8716 can be replaced with seal 840.1307031 or 850.1307031, but not vice versa. Because of loss of tightness at the contact point of the seal housing with the seating in the pump housing.
