Efficient durable equipment - the rotary mower for walk-behind tractor KR-1.1 BMT handles clearing any areas of dry wood, weeds, small shrubs, is used for mowing natural and sown vegetation, trimming pastures and household plots. The design is distinguished by strength and reliability, which guarantees trouble-free operation for a long time, even under increased operating loads.
In working condition the mower is mounted on the walk-behind tractor in the rear side position; when moved to the transport (raised) position the device is automatically disconnected. It attaches with a single-point hitch to equipment with engine power of at least 12 horsepower. It is powered from the tractor PTO pulley via a belt drive.
The rotation of the two rotors with which the rotary mower KR-1.1 BMT is equipped is driven by a shaft and two pairs of bevel gears located in a closed metal housing. The gears are made of heat-treated steel and are characterized by increased strength. During mowing, the rotor discs rotate at high speed toward each other, eight sharpened steel knives cut the grass at a height of 5 - 6 cm from the surface, covering a width of 110 cm and directing the mown plant mass into windrows.
