Tractor KENTAVR 404X — a reliable and functional 40-horsepower diesel tractor KENTAVR 404X equipped with a 4-cylinder diesel engine KM490VT with a displacement of 2545 cm³ and a direct fuel injection system. The absence of turbocharging is compensated by stable operation and fuel efficiency. Engine and air filtration The oil-bath filter with a metal mesh and cyclone provides reliable engine protection from contamination. An electric glowplug is used to facilitate starting in cold weather. A fuel tank with a capacity of 65 L ensures long autonomous operation. Transmission and controls The mechanical transmission has a shifting formula (4×2)+(4×2), which includes 4 main speeds and 2 reduction gears with neutral. A separate reverse gearbox is present. The clutch is single-function, two-disc, of the dry (constantly engaged) type. Hydrostatic steering with a separate pump and oil tank provides precise and easy steering. Rear drum brakes have separate pedals with the possibility of synchronized operation. Running gear and hitching equipment The 4×4 wheel configuration provides good cross-country ability on various soils.
