The lightened rotary mower for a motor-tractor KR-06 has a simple reliable design and features good performance. Suitable for work on any areas, it cleanly mows dense thick vegetation, can be used for cutting dry wood, reed, corn and tall mixed grasses. It is mounted using the front suspension system on equipment with power of at least 12 horsepower. Thanks to the front placement, the work process is fully controlled by the operator.
The rotary mower for the motor-tractor is equipped with three discs, which are engaged by a belt drive from the tractor pulley. The rotation of the cutting mechanisms is driven by two bevel gearboxes, which transmit the necessary force to each separate gearbox for the three discs, equipped with steel floating knives. During mowing the discs, which rotate towards each other, cut the grass at a height of 8 cm from the surface of the field. Due to the free mounting, the knives easily bypass solid obstacles, tucking under the discs and return to their previous position under the influence of centrifugal force.
Special metal skis are located on the sides of the frame, providing easy movement of the unit over the surface of the treated area. In one pass the rotary mower for the motor-tractor KR-06 mows vegetation with high efficiency, covering a strip 120 cm wide and lays the cut mass into wide even windrows.
