The mounted disc harrow is designed for shallow non-inversion continuous soil cultivation. The disc harrow is attached to the tractor’s three-point hitch mechanism at the rear. Disc harrowing precedes ploughing. It is performed for breaking up crop residues, loosening the soil, conserving moisture, incorporating harvest residues, pests and plant disease agents, and weed seeds into the soil to stimulate their germination. By subsequent ploughing, the weeds that have sprouted are buried to a greater depth and perish. Disc harrowing significantly reduces the mechanical energy required for ploughing, which accordingly greatly saves fuel consumption during subsequent ploughing. Advantages of the disc harrows of our production are: simple and reliable design; increased weight; increased thickness of the profile tube; improved painting; improved welding.
