The disk potato hiller PD6 for a walk-behind tractor is used for hilling various types of agricultural crops during the growth period and for cutting furrows for planting. It connects to walk-behind tractors with power from 7 horsepower using a special single adjustable hitch.
This disk hiller PD6 is a working unit consisting of two steel stands with 36 cm diameter discs, installed on a double coupling made of durable metal profile with a working width of 40 cm. The tool is fixed to the frame with special holders with bolted connections. The adjustable type of fastenings allows changing the working height and attack angle of the hillers depending on the terrain and soil complexity of the cultivated area, setting the required working depth - up to 15 cm.
The double coupling with which the disk hiller for the walk-behind tractor PD6 is equipped has several mounting holes that control the position of the device relative to the field surface; the row width is adjusted using movable fastenings of the working tools. The presence of two pairs of bearings in the disc joints ensures smooth operation of the equipment on any terrain, with a maximum productivity of 0.4 ha/h.
