The row-crop cultivator for a motor-tractor KMO-1.5 has a lightened functional design intended for productive execution of inter-row cultivation of crops during the growing season. It effectively loosens any soil, efficiently destroys weeds by cutting them off together with their roots, and breaks up clods of earth into a uniform fraction.
This row-crop cultivator KMO-1.5 is equipped with a long steel frame made of square profile tubing with a total working width of 1.5 m. Three independent sections with working tools are mounted on the frame — pairs of one-sided flat-cutters and arrow-shaped shares. All tools are mounted on adjustable fastenings, the sections are fixed to the frame using bolts and plates. The movable type of fastenings allows free movement of the two side sections along the frame and changing the arrangement of the tools on the housings, thereby adjusting the row spacing and setting the working depth — up to 8 cm.
The row-crop cultivator KMO-1.5 is attached to a motor-tractor with at least 8 horsepower by means of a single-point rear hitch. The one-sided blades are fixed to extendable elements, which allows easily changing the distance between the flat-cutters depending on the working width of the cultivated crops. The maximum productivity for this unit is 0.45 ha/h.

Description
The row-crop cultivator for a motor-tractor KMO-1.5 has a lightened functional design intended for productive execution of inter-row cultivation of crops during the growing season.
