Specialized agricultural equipment - conveyor potato digger Bomet (Bomet) for tractor, minitractor single-row is designed for digging potatoes, and it is also fully capable of successfully being used for harvesting other types of vegetables - onions, garlic, beets, planted mechanically in beds with widths from 62 to 75 cm.
The potato digger for tractor has excellent manufacturing quality and superb operating characteristics, allowing it to work with high productivity - from 0.15 to 0.25 ha/h in any climatic conditions on fields with light and medium soils, permissible moisture - up to 27%, soil hardness - up to 20 kg/cm2. This mounted equipment is started from the PTO shaft installed on the agricultural machine being attached, then rotational motion is transmitted to the drive shaft of the unit, equipped with gears to activate the conveyor belt mounted on two vibrating shafts.
This Bomet digger has a conveyor feature - the presence of special guide rods that allow already cleaned-from-soil vegetables arriving on the belt to be thrown to the left side in the direction of travel of the vehicle.
Like all similar equipment, the conveyor potato digger Bomet (Bomet) for tractor, minitractor operates from the rear power take-off (PTO) and is mounted on machinery that has engine power from 20 horsepower, using a three-point hitch. Recommended transport speed for high work productivity - from 2 to 8 km/h. Three shares dig well into the soil and capture all root crops, feeding them for cleaning onto the vibrating conveyor belt. The height of the support wheels can be changed, which accordingly allows changing the depth of the knives' immersion into the ground.
