The roller for the Bomet cultivator 1.80 m is designed to improve the quality of soil cultivation when using specialized mounted equipment (harrows and cultivators), and is also used as a standalone unit when performing the final stage of pre-sowing cultivation, or in the post-harvest period for leveling sowing areas.
The working unit installed on the Bomet 1.80 m roller consists of two single-row string drums (diameter 29.5 cm) mounted on a strong load-bearing profile frame. Steel toothed plates (8 pcs. on each drum) welded to the bases of the drums are arranged at a specific angle to each other. The sharpened edges and angular arrangement of the toothed strings allow easy breaking of compact topsoil layers, crushing large clods of earth and good leveling of the working surface.
For work together with mounted equipment, the roller for the cultivator (disc harrow) Bomet 1.80 m is attached to the rear part of the harrow or cultivator frame with a reinforced three-point hitch. When used separately, the device is connected with a three-point attachment directly to the working machinery. In one pass the unit processes an area 1.8 meters wide, the working depth is adjusted using a screw fitting.
