You can buy a rotary harrow from the manufacturer BMZ (9 meters) in the official online store.

The BRZ-9 is designed for pre-emergence and post-emergence harrowing of field crop plantings for the purpose of superficial loosening and aeration of the soil, and destruction of filamentous weed seedlings. It is used for continuous and inter-row cultivation of cereals, row crops, legumes, vegetables and other crops at moisture from 8% to 24% and soil hardness not exceeding 1.6 MPa.

The BRZ-9.0 harrow consists of a square tube, hitch brackets, side panel, locks, a towing device and sections with working implements. The sections of working implements can be installed according to the row spacing. They allow treatment of row-crop seedlings at earlier dates, as well as at later dates with minimal damage to cultivated plants.

How the BRZ-9.0 harrow works

When the harrow moves across the field, the discs with teeth begin to rotate independently, penetrating the soil to a depth of 3–5 cm, as a result of which the hardened surface is loosened, the top layer of soil is destroyed, and the soil becomes saturated with air. As a result, fertile soil layers are impregnated with nitrogen and assimilated by plants.

The BRZ-9.0 rotary harrow mulches the topsoil well, destroys the soil crust, creating ideal conditions for the initial development of the plant root system and providing a powerful start to their growth.

Design features:

- a curved spring tooth with a forged tip of original shape made from a solid rod of hardened steel 65G;

- the teeth are assembled into a serviceable star that rotates on a maintenance-free bearing;

- two stars are mounted on a balancer and a working section is assembled on a radial, spring-loaded and adjustable suspension;

- the working sections are mounted on a three-section folding frame, which is equipped with two support wheels, ensuring operation with crop heights up to 35 cm;

- the harrow has a device for long-distance transport over significant distances within permitted dimensions.

The BRZ-9 rotary harrow was tested in the experimental field of UkrNDIPVT named after L. Pohorily in the town of Doslidne, Bila Tserkva district, Kyiv region.

Soil condition in the layer: 0–5 cm, moisture: 16%, hardness 1.1 MPa.

Attachment: tractor with power 120–150 hp.

Six speed modes: 3 km/h, 7 km/h, 10 km/h, 13 km/h, 16 km/h and 19 km/h.

Set working depth: 4 cm.
