TIME TO SAY GOODBYE: THE MTZ-YUK IS RETIRING — ON THE JOB SHIFT: TRACTOR HANWO 904! Everything comes to an end. The MTZ is completing its final laps in the field: no matter how much you improve or upgrade it, it clearly no longer meets the requirements of the modern owner. In the 90-horsepower category it has simply been pushed aside by a "battle-hardened" contender — the Hanwo 904 tractor, which with its very appearance makes competitors nervously smoke in the hallway! ENGINE The under-hood space is covered with soundproofing, and for maintenance convenience there is built-in lighting. Traction is provided by a 4-cylinder turbo-diesel with a 3.5 L displacement and a high-efficiency air filter. Fuel economy is ensured by direct injection, and for reliable starting in winter there is an electric glow plug. There are two fuel tanks (80+60 L) — on both sides under the cab; there is also an additional transparent filter for monitoring fuel. TRANSMISSION AND CHASSIS A portal front axle with wheel reducers provides 420 mm of agricultural clearance for free movement between rows. The steering hydraulic cylinder is placed ahead of the beam and protected by a cover, while the rear half-axles are housed in massive cast sleeves with flange mounting. A reversible gearbox (12/12) allows precise speed selection for each task. A set of counterweights brings the tractor mass to 3660 kg, producing a convincing 25.2 kN of pull. THREE-POINT HITCH The hitch lifts up to 1610 kg. It has reinforced lower links with removable "apples" (ball ends), and the center screw with a damper effectively reduces oscillation during movement. The hydraulic system with a separate tank and level indicator effectively supports forced penetration into the soil. For complex implements there are 4 additional hydraulic outlets and a separate pneumatic connector. And the two-speed PTO (at 540 and 1000 rpm) easily powers active implements. COMFORT AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT Everything here is like in a modern car: a fully glazed cab with air conditioning, wipers and two-segment mirrors for better visibility. Inside — a flat floor with a ribbed mat, plastic trim with niches, and an adjustable ergonomic seat. In front of the operator — a digital instrument panel, and to the right on a separate mount — a multimedia screen with camera output. Original modular lights at the roof corners provide additional lighting. The conclusion is obvious: while the "Belarus" hasn’t become a museum exhibit yet, it’s time to switch to new-generation equipment. The Hanwo 904 tractor is a completely different level of comfort, power and efficiency. Time to work with those who play ahead of the curve!
